Registered Kinesiologist - Karp Rehab - Platinum Athletic Club Surrey & Anytime Fitness Langley

Karp Rehabilitation a Division of Lifemark Health Group is looking for a Kinesiologist to join our team in Canada’s largest Rehab company, Lifemark is passionate about enriching the health of Canadians through movement.

While physiotherapy remains a core service, Kinesiology is integral in promoting our clients’ healing and improving recovery time.

The successful candidate will posses the ability to perform ergonomic assessment, POET’s, work hardening and facilitating FCE’s.

This position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, as well as provide exposure to complex occupational rehab cases.

Status : Part Time

Mandatory requirements :

We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more.

Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory.

In this role you will :

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and / or work hardening programs
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart

Qualifications :

• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
• 2+ years of experience considered an asset
• Registration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is required
