Your Contribution
As a Junior / Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will work in collaboration with the Electrical Design Team
Your main responsibilities will be :
Responsibilities
- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
- Assist in developing, planning, organizing, and carrying the design of various electrical projects using AutoCAD and Revit
- Preparing and verifying drawings and specifications
- Reviewing shop drawings
- Carry out and assist with field inspection and field data collection
- Assist in the preparation of reports, specifications, proposals and presentations
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates
- Assist with site Investigations and studies
- Assist in the preparation of Building condition audits and asset management planning
- Adhere to project budgets and objectives
- Attend project meetings with Clients and other design team members
- Coordinate with other design disciplines
- Participate in internal and external project meetings
- Dealing with clients, contractors and suppliers in the positive promotion of the firm
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
- Eligibility or enrollment as an Engineer in Training with Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists New Brunswick
- Valid P.Eng. designation for the Province of New Brunswick.
- 0 to 8 years’ electrical design and drafting experience.
- Experience in the consulting industry would be an asset
- Project management experience would be an asset for an Intermediate position.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, bilingual (French) would be an asset
- Experience with electrical engineering tools such as AGI32 and SKM PowerTools would be an asset
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Attention to detail while multi-tasking
- An understanding of product results
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills that will allow you to work on numerous projects concurrently, and update reoccurring tasks
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to produce well written reports and technical specifications
- Ability to work in a team environment
