Description : Client is seeking a Product Owner. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design;
play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Required Qualifications :
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 13 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification :
The Product Manager will participate in defining roadmap, creating release plans, consolidating product ideas, identify potential partners in both product and technology landscape, collaborate with marketing department to create product collaterals, review product documents, contribute to brand enhancement with an objective to ensure value visibility of products amongst customers.
The Product Manager will create the release plan and is the single point of contact for distribution and elaborating the plan, resolving any stake holder queries, working with UI / Docs and Engineering to detail out the implementation and answering any (non-technical) queries regarding the features in order to provide a single point of contact for release objectives and ensuring a consistent and usable product delivering key customer expectations is delivered.
The Product Manager will use ones domain and product definition skills to identify potential partners in both the product technology landscape in order to improve time to market and alliances in the product domain where synergies exist in order to assist in developing an alliance strategy which would add value to the product.
The Product Manager will work with marketing to develop collaterals, work with prospects to describe functional attributes of the product (and technical limited to integrations / integrability) and work with teams preparing responses to RFP in order to ensure the RFP is consistent with the products features and roadmap and to use ones expertise on the product to ensure product features are used to best effect.
S / He also uses this opportunity to identify product gaps. S / he will also conduct Solution / Product demonstration and POC / Proof of Technology workshops, prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with Infosys financial guidelines for projects IN ORDER TO deliver a proposal acceptable to the customer and to Infosys.
The Product Manager will work closely with clients’ Business and functional teams to periodically review usefulness of upcoming features in new releases and eliciting inputs about their problem areas and suggestions for improvements in order to ensure the product roadmap factors in requirements of existing clients and stays competitive.
The Manager will understand the As -Is processes / conduct Current System Study and then identify high level process / system changes.
S / he will act as a lead in complex requirements IN ORDER TO arrive at process documents, process gaps, fit-gap analysis, requirement / assessment documents that are agreeable to the customer.
Product Manager will support the Client Leadership in creating and presenting Product Vison, Strategy and ongoing status and outcome to the Executive Board
The Product Manager will define the release requirements and elaborates on them as required to ensure the requirements are well understood by teams such as UI / Docs and Engineering in order to convey a consistent message about the release features and clarify any ambiguities.
The Product Manager will provide suggestions or reviews resource plans in cases where the requirements mandate, in order to ensure any unusual resource requirements are noted early and planned for.
The Product Manager will provide the functional requirements and externally visible technical attributes (API's, user modifiable Configuration files, etc.
and clarify any engineering queries in order to ensure release requirements are understood in a consistent fashion by implementers.
The Product Manager will review, guide, clarify on documentation issues.
The Product Manager will guide the marketing team in Brand enhancement initiatives, provide inputs for marketing collaterals;
support in road shows and product promotional activities in order to enhance the brand value of the product
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
