Akkodis is currently searching for a Senior Developer for a long-term, won contract with our Crown Corporation client within the Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal area.
Job Description :
- Author technical specification documents and diagrams for client’s platforms and custom developed applications.
- Participates in system architecture and design and technical decisions (technologies, frameworks and tools selection).
- Completes application development projects according to SDLC best practices.
- Conducts code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and design best practices and help resolve technical issues.
- Ensures that documentation is created and maintained for architecture, design, development and deployment processes.
- Collaborates with various stakeholders (product owners, scrum masters, other technical teams, etc.) to ensure technical aspects align with business goals.
Experience Required :
- Strong experience (5+ years as a front-end developer in the following tech stack : ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, Azure Function App, Kubernetes, and Microservices.
- Experience developing in a Microsoft Azure environment.
- Demonstrated experience in software delivery lifecycle and in software development at scale best practices.
- Experience with agile practices, techniques, tools, and standard practices.
Additional Requirements :
- Ideal candidate must possess an active Level 1 - Reliability Security Clearance with the Government of Canada, or be eligible for Reliability Clearance (5+ years in Canada).
- Bilingual is an asset.
- Azure Certification is an asset.
