About the role
The EDI developer must perform programming work within a team under the direction of more senior members.
How you will make an impact
- Develop, test, and implement Electronic Data Interchange transactions.
- Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot FTP connection for Electronic Data Interchange transactions.
- Maintain EDI documentation as required to help in supporting clients.
- Ensure all Electronic Data Interchange transactions have been processed successfully and perform debugging activities if necessary.
- Other duties as required.
We're looking for someone with
- Degree or Certificate in Management Information Systems required.
- Two or more years of practical experience in a mature EDI environment.
- Hands-on experience with the following is desired :
- o Data communication methods, such as VAN, AS2, SFTP, SOAP, WCF, etc;
o Experience with Biztalk software with C# programming and XSLT(XML)
o Experience in .NET programming
o Experience with mapping ANSI x12, EDIFACT standards;
o Working knowledge of a VAN; GXS is preferred.
