Responsibilities
- Here are the responsibilities for this Freelance - 2D video editor / animator at this well known non-profit Company in Plateau Mont-Royal;
- Adapt motion design and 2D animation videos and their associated images as closely as possible to the original video;
- Based on the graphic charter, ensure that the visual identity is reflected in the videos at all times;
- Respect the procedures in place to ensure the smooth running of the production chain;
- Ensure the filing and archiving of all files;
Take part in all other related tasks.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Freelance - 2D video editor / animator at this well known non-profit Company in Plateau Mont-Royal;
KNOW-HOW
- Mastery of After Effects and Illustrator;
- Master Google Suite;
- Ability to adapt to different styles of educational videos;
- Experience with Jira and knowledge of SCRUM / Kanban production style are assets;
Experience in producing / editing educational and popularization videos, an asset.
KNOW-HOW
- Demonstrate openness to constructive criticism by proposing creative solutions that meet student needs;
- Ability to juggle several simultaneous projects, set priorities and meet deadlines;
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams;
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, initiative and attention to detail;
Have a keen interest in young people and their success.
CONDITIONS AND OTHER SPECIFICATIONS
- Hours vary from week to week;
- Diploma (technical, DEP, DEC or AEC) in animation / video production;
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role;
- Have an up-to-date portfolio and / or animation / editing demo, ready for presentation;
- Have the rights to work legally in Canada;
Fluency in written and spoken French.
