Our leading transit client is looking for an Oracle Peoplesoft HCM Developer to join their team on a 12 month term plus extension.
The role will operate on a hybrid model in their Burnaby office, 2 days a week on site.
The developer will support new and existing Oracle PeopleSoft operations and initiatives.
Pay : $70-85 / INC
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle PeopleSoft HCM modules to meet the organization's business requirements.
- Customize and enhance PeopleSoft HCM applications, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Self-Service, based on stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, IT, and technical teams, to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Perform system configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM applications.
- Develop and troubleshoot complex SQL, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and other PeopleSoft tools.
- Provide expertise in PeopleSoft HCM modules, advising on best practices and improvements for system functionality.
- Assist with the integration of third-party systems with PeopleSoft HCM, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Participate in system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Offer support for end-users by resolving technical issues and providing training as needed.
- Keep up to date with Oracle PeopleSoft updates and best practices to ensure the system remains modern and efficient.
Skills :
- Proven experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, specifically in modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration, and Self-Service.
- Proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, and SQL.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) for applying maintenance packs and updates.
- Strong understanding of PeopleTools, Application Designer, BI Publisher Reporting.
- Ability to design and implement interfaces and integrations between PeopleSoft HCM and third-party systems.
- Experience with data migration, upgrades, and system optimization within Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.
- Knowledge of HCM processes and functionality, including payroll processing, benefits management, and employee self-service.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
