As a PARC Housekeeper, you are a caretaker of this vision responsible for cleaning resident suites and common areas to create a safe, tidy and pleasant environment for residents. This includes :
- Cleaning and sanitizing suites, bathrooms, kitchens, floors and common areas according to a pre-set schedule.
- Performing laundry services for residents as needed.
- Identifying, reporting and logging potential maintenance issues to management.
- Maintaining the housekeeping room, equipment and carts in safe and sanitary condition.
- Replenishing housekeeping carts and managing cleaning chemicals safely.

- You’re an upbeat, cooperative team member who brings positive energy to all you do.
- You have at least two years of similar experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry.
- You have completed Grade 10 high school education or equivalent, along with the WHMIS program, and you are able to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
- You pride yourself on excellent attention to detail and work to the highest cleaning standards.
- You’re able to self-direct and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- You understand and respect the needs of seniors, their families, and and other professional services engaged with our residents.
At PARC Retirement Living we understand the importance of immunization to protect our residents, team members and visitors from COVID-19.
As such, a prerequisite of employment is that all new hires are fully vaccinated as approved by Health Canada. We also require a Criminal Record Check, and a TB test within the first month of employment.
