Responsibilities

Reporting to the IT Director, the holder of the position based in Montreal will be responsible for :

• Administer and maintain computer networks
• Implement and migrate servers, systems and network infrastructures
• Install, maintain and upgrade server and telecommunications equipment hardware and software
• Management of the company's cloud computing environments
• Analyze infrastructure and make recommendations
• Validate, write and / or update procedures related to IT infrastructures
• Monitor alerts and problems from remote monitoring systems
• Perform data backup and restoration operations
• Propose and implement projects to upgrade existing IT structures
• Supervision of an IT support team
• Participate in all other IT projects
• Ensure the improvement, performance and security of existing and future networks and systems;
• Update storage, backup and network solutions while maintaining a global vision of the organization;
• Act as the last level of support.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills :

• DEC in computer technology or other equivalent diploma
• You have a minimum of 5 years of business experience in a similar position
• Mastery of Microsoft environment (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012-2019, Active Directory, GPO, Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams)
• VMware virtualization and Veeam backup
• Network (DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS)
• Agility in terms of server and network security (Firewall, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, etc.);
• You have a perfect command of the French and English languages, both spoken and written.
