RVT Racetrack work – Georgian Downs
Racing Forensics is hiring Registered Veterinary Technicians for equine venipuncture at Georgian Downs for the summer (June 2 to August 31, 2024).
Shifts on Saturdays and Tuesdays start at 2 : 45pm and 6 : 45pm, while Sunday shifts start at 1 : 30pm and 5 : 30pm.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties
- Collect blood samples from horses and / or administer IV medication
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
- Complete official documentation and records
Skills / Experience
- Registered Veterinary Technicians
- Experience working with horses
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
