We currently have an opportunity for Mobile Mapping Sales Representative for the Canadian region. This position is remote and can be located within 1 hour of a major airport.
Activities will be focused on achieving Canada's financial KPIs, growth targets and strategic objectives for Mobile Mapping through direct sales efforts, input to product marketing, product positioning and channel / market development.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO :
- Increase market share through the development of scanning business with new and existing customers in the region
- Responsible for meeting the Mobile Mapping sales and revenue target
- Develop a Sales Strategy to maximize revenue
- Ensure technology adoption in the Survey Ground Segment
- Work with regional product team to provide input for yearly strategy and business plan. Contribute input for the future product development to ensure product adoption and sales growth.
- Identify Target Customers for key sales and further market penetration
- Research and analyze the Mobile Mapping market and competition
- Contribute to product promotion for Mobile Mapping - through press releases, success stories, presentation content, advertising, social media, and industry publications
- Represent Leica Geosystems and Mobile Mapping solutions at trade shows, seminars, and surveying society events
- Responsible for all customer demonstrations
- Work with regional distribution partners to develop relationships and generate additional opportunities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 5 years of industry experience with significant background in Mobile Mapping and land surveying
- Strong knowledge and experience in developing and implementing sales models and plans
- Proven sales professional, including Key Account Management and Direct Sales experience.
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams, mobilizing people via excellent communication and clear objectives as well as demonstrating commitment to exceeding customer expectations
- Bilingual in English and in French is an asset
- Strong presentation skills especially to groups and forums of customers
- An aptitude for developing plans and strategies to succeed
- A passion for achieving business goals and sales targets
- Advanced skills in developing and maintaining strong strategic relationships
- A passion for superior product delivery and customer service as well as an appreciation for the need for a positive end-user experience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to travel as required - there is a considerable amount of travel required to fulfill this role
