Job description for Spray Painter :

Pay rate : $20-$30 depending on experience.

Shift time : 7 am-3 pm or 4 pm

Responsibilities :

1. You will be responsible for filling, smoothing, and repairing each product's surface, mixing the coating liquids, and spraying each layer according to specifications.

2. Select appropriate stain or mix stains according to a predetermined formula

3. Prepare spraying equipment such as clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise, and prepare items for the application of stain finishes

4. Clean and prep surfaces using processes such as sanding, scraping, and grinding

5. Apply a wide variety of coatings to different wood types to produce a flawless finish

6. Review and touch up finished materials as needed to produce an equal tone and ensure the quality of work

7. Report production issues and assist in resolutions as needed

8. Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment

9. Ability to understand, read, and interpret material safety and datasheets. An understanding of drawings, sketches, and / or blueprints is a benefit

10. Performing other related tasks as assigned

11. The work environment requires physical movement including walking, standing, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
