What are your contributions to the team?

• Work in a Catia V5 computer system to identify the needs for tools and parts for the manufacture of templates (drawings established by the engineering / method departments)
• Request parts from the purchasing department
• Operate conventional and CNC lathes / milling machines (Hyundai WIA).
• Operate press brakes, saws and drills to transform raw materials.
• Assemble the template parts and install them
• Use a CMM inspection machine

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :

• DEC Mechanical Engineering, or
• DEP Machining + ASP Tools, or
• DEP Machining + 3 years of experience in tools
• Basic knowledge of tolerances and GD&T
• For CNCs, the ability to do simple programming (mastercam) will be an important asset
• Working knowledge of Tracker Lazer and Polyworks system (an asset)
