We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Financial Analyst to analyze data to prepare reports on Technology division’s performance both financial and non-financial, forecast trends and conduct analysis to interpret financial and operating performance to help facilitate decision making by IT SLT and CTIO. .
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director IT Portfolio, Financial & Performance Management, you will be empowered to :
Design, develop and maintain models and spreadsheets that capture and leverage financial data to analyze and interpret information
Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis and reporting of historical trends and interpret financial results and derive insights for the Technology division
Support the analysis, measurement and reporting on the Technology division key performance indicators (KPIs), SLA’s etc to track success and other key milestones
Develop periodic and ad-hoc analysis and performance reporting packages (including scorecards and relevant dashboards) to provide insights and recommendations to improve performance across the Technology division
Support the development of an overall performance package for the CTIO and the Technology Senior Leadership team to provide insights into the divisions financial and non-financial performance
Analyze current process and develop enhancements to create efficiencies
Steward the performance processes for all of Technology and drives Technology-wide adoption ensure standard processes are followed
Collaborate with Finance on ad-hoc analysis and proposed process enhancements to ensure adherence to current policies and control requirements
Support the month end, forecasting and financial planning processes for the Technology division
Assist in the development of the Technology Division’s Annual Plan
Develop a tactical plan of technology projects and initiatives, including associated rationale, costs and resource implications that is aligned to the OLG Corporate strategy and the overall Technology Strategy
Support the tracking and monitoring of the Technology division’s headcount and prepare summary reports for CTIO
Support the process for acquiring, tracking and monitoring Agency Contract resources and timely processing of invoices
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience : 3-5 years of experience with accounting principles, financial analysis, financial controls & procedures
Education : University degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related discipline CPA or working towards CPA at senior level, considered an asset
