Security Specialist - Security Architect
Position and/or Project Description:
We are seeking a Security Architect based in Regina with a robust background in infrastructure architecture and recovery planning, and proven experience conducting Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs) and implementing risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Microsoft Azure environments, with the ability to design secure, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise governance standards. This role demands a strategic thinker who can collaborate across teams to strengthen our security posture while supporting operational resilience.
Mandatory Education/Certifications:

• Azure Experience/Security Project Experience
• CISSP or like

Mandatory Experience:

• Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs)
• Proven track record conducting TRAs, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending actionable mitigation strategies aligned with governance standards.

Deliverables:

• Provide sound architectural guidance on security requirements to projects and operational teams.
• Participate in / perform cyber security threat risk assessments and security analysis. This includes assessing cloud and on-premises applications.
• Produce deliverables in the form of reports and documented recommendations that SaskPower would consider implementing, and recommendations to Enterprise Security as requested.
