What We’re Looking For :
We have an exciting opening on our team for a Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the support, creation, and execution of social content for all marketing campaigns and strategies.
Responsibilities :
- Maintaining social media calendars for all social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Google, Trip Advisor, Yelp and )
- Develop, assist, curate, edit and create engaging copy and content, including stories, video, photography and other graphics.
- Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
- Analyze and report the results of marketing initiatives.
- Performing market analysis and research on the latest trends.
- Assisting with daily administrative duties.
- Designing and presenting new social media campaign ideas.
- Monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
- Preparing detailed promotional presentations.
- Consistently execute community management of social channels including outreach to various partners and responding to messages, inquiries, reviews, and comments promptly.
- Assist with the planning and hosting of marketing / new restaurant opening events
- Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content.
- Contributing to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.
- Research events / influencers / collaborations / partnerships
- Outsourcing / Identifying vendors / distributors (supplies, merchandise, print materials)
- Respond to Reviews, DMs and inquiries across our platforms to enhance customer experience
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of experience in Marketing & Social Media Management
- Excellent writing ability both for business and consumer content
- Experience using platforms such as (Instagram, Canva, Mailchimp, Later)
- Experience with Adobe Suite is considered an asset
- Experience and a flair for design and aesthetics
- Experience using the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience working with data and reporting considered an asset
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- If you consider yourself a "foodie", that would be a plus!
- Legally able to work full-time in Canada, and on-site at our Vancouver office
