Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will drive the early stages of the sales cycle by identifying, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline for our sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation through outbound account targeting, cold calling, and multi‑touch outreach; follow up on inbound marketing‑generated leads.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly lead and meeting objectives.
  • Learn and continually develop skills.
  • Adapt to change and contribute to an evolving environment.
  • Demonstrate accountability for personal success.
  • Collaborate with broader sales organization to grow pipeline.
  • Understand and communicate Tipalti’s product and value propositions.
  • Know the full prospecting and sales processes.
  • Show desire for growth into larger sales roles; career progression is supported.
  • Align activity (calls / emails) with marketing initiatives and meet metric expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC).
  • 1+ years of inside‑sales software experience preferred.
  • Experience calling CXO level prospects.
  • Proven track record with new account development.
  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent record of meeting / exceeding lead generation & sales goals.
  • High energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative and professionalism.
  • Self‑starter with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to maintain high call volumes.

  • Compensation

    Base Salary : $60,000 CAD annually.

    Commission : opportunity to earn commission based on performance. Target commission : $25,000 CAD annually.

    Expected Total Compensation : $85,000 CAD annually (base plus target bonus / commission).
