The Opportunity

The Technical Analyst will provide day-to-day support for our IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, and peripherals.

You will develop and implement training programs, communications, and technical resource writing to ensure our employees are utilizing systems to their full potential.

You will also develop and implement long-term plans to ensure the company has the necessary technology and infrastructure to meet its goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve problems related to IT infrastructure and related services
• Provide end-user service and support on a timely basis, including help desk duties
• Work closely with other members of the IT team to estimate, design, develop, document, and implement various technical solutions, aligned with the organization’s business objectives and existing systems architecture
• Design and manage Active Directory and related features including Microsoft Entra ID integration, group policy configuration, and the principle of least privilege
• Manage and maintain virtualized environments using Microsoft Hyper-V
• Ensure connectivity to and basic functionality within cloud services such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure
• The ability to work with complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires review
• Monitor, maintain, and ensure appropriate system availability, performance, and responsiveness across networks and endpoints
• Monitor, assess, and respond to reports of anomalous, suspicious, or malicious activity
• Design, configure, and maintain multiple layers of defense including but not limited to endpoint protection, MDM, IDS / IPS, traffic inspection, and conditional access policies
• Respond to afterhours alert, alarms, or advisories to ensure service availability and security meets business standards and expectations

Here’s what you bring

Minimum5 years’ experience working within Information Technology, specifically in positions with responsibility for or oversight of the following :

Security products and services including but not limited to Firewalls, IDS / IPS, Endpoint Protection, MDM, Email Security / Spam / Phish filters

Microsoft operating systems, specifically Windows 10 and Server 2016-2022

Office 365 Administration including licensing, SharePoint, Teams / Teams Voice

Network services and devices including switches, wireless LAN, VPNs, VLANs

Knowledge of SQL Server Administration

• Technical diploma / degree or equivalent technical certifications
• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills, organizational skills, time management and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to communicate concisely and effectively with individuals possessing various levels of technology aptitude or familiarity, in both everyday and urgent situations
• Ability and willingness to be flexible in working on the diverse set of tasks associated with a small team
• Experience with project management and business analysis disciplines
• Experience in relationship management with industry partners, vendors, and service providers
