You'll bring more structure, consistency, and follow-through to brand and product initiatives across a growing portfolio. You’ll build deep knowledge of products, flavours, SKUs, and performance data before turning that insight into brand activity that shows up strong and is ready to go-to market. Smart, Savvy + Associates is partnering with a Canadian, independent food company in the natural snacks space to hire a Brand Specialist. This role sits at the intersection of brand, innovation, and sales support and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced CPG environment where priorities move quickly and execution matters. The environment is collaborative, people-first, and highly engaged, with an in-office setup where being close to the product, packaging, and team truly matters. What you’ll do : Build a strong working understanding of the brand portfolio and positioning Audit, organize, and maintain packaging files and brand assets to ensure accuracy, compliance, and version control Support brand consistency across packaging, sales materials, and customer-facing assets Coordinate the execution of new product launches and line extensions for retail Manage timelines across departments, venders and internal stakeholders Support the development of product briefs, communication plans, and sell-in materials Analyze category, pricing, promotion, and competitive data to support portfolio decisions Work with internal and external data sources (including Nielsen) to understand trends and performance Support annual planning with thoughtful analysis across products, pricing, and distribution Build and maintain trade presentations, sales collateral, pricing tools, and POS materials Flag risks early, communicate progress clearly and recommend adjustments when plans need to evolve What you’ll bring : A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field 3–4 years of experience in a brand, marketing, or product-focused role (CPG experience strongly preferred) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into action Proven project management skills and exceptional organizational ability High attention to detail — accuracy matters in this role Clear, confident communication skills (written and verbal) A proactive, self-directed working style with the ability to manage competing priorities Comfort working cross-functionally and influencing without authority Experience working with Nielsen data, packaging processes, or retail launches is considered an asset. Additional details : 💰$65,000–$72,000 base salary + 100% employer-paid benefits and RRSP matching 🏖️3 weeks vacations to start 📍Location : Fully in-office, Surrey, BC ✈️Occasional travel within Canada and the U.S.
