We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst Data & Analytics (Data Developer) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and development of Data pipelines and possess a strong understanding of data engineering principles, standards, and data warehousing concepts.

This role involves designing, developing, unit testing, maintaining, deploying, and scheduling data pipelines in an agile environment.

Responsabilities :

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines using Talend, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.

These data pipelines will ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources and formats, including both structured and unstructured data, received as batch and streaming inputs

  • Implement and maintain data engineering patterns, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, data architects, data analysts, data modelers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, data solutions, mapping documents, and data models.
  • Implement data security measures and best practices to ensure data privacy, integrity, and compliance with company standards.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Data Analyst in analyzing defects and issues.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability to understand the existing data warehouse application and be able to fix.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Create pull requests, perform code merges, create / update deployment documents, and provide support to the release team during deployments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pipeline design and development (Batch and Streaming) using Azure / snowflake cloud services and Talend.
  • At least 5 years of IT experience, including 3 years dedicated to designing and developing ETL / ELT pipelines for Enterprise Data Warehouse applications.
  • Proficiency in complex SQL, Stored procedures and experience with PySpark, Python, or Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and tools, including ADLS, Azure DevOps, Azure Event Hubs, AAD, RBAC, and AzCopy.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Administrators to create and configure cloud services.
  • Ability to configure alerts and monitoring in cloud services to track incoming data and pipeline execution.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with understanding of data vault modeling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and agile project management tools.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making skills and demonstrated ability to learn new tools and systems.
  • Acquired Snowflake certification is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
