Business Analyst - Junior

Deliverables :

  • The Business Analyst supports the Governance and Communications Management team by delivering documentation, process flows, and reporting analysis on project deliverables.
  • As part of the OCM team, supports the development of communication strategies, plans, and deliverables and tracks their delivery.
  • Conducts business analysis; develops process flows and guides, documents roles and responsibilities for multiple streams.
  • Develops templates for communications for the purpose of re-use across multiple streams
  • Supports / creates the design of PowerPoint presentations and other communication solutions for stakeholder and internal presentations and information sharing
  • Tracks and documents data from project information ( user equipment, service readiness) using multiple Microsoft tools (visio and Excel).

Using business intelligence tools, develop dashboards and scorecards to support project reporting.

  • Provides regular progress updates and reporting at various audience levels; including regular input and updates to the Project Managers, project Sponsors, Executive Sponsors, and ministry partners.
  • Collaborates with teams in Project streams and with ministry partners on documentation and communications as per the PSRN Communication Plan.
  • Leads and conducts business analysis to assess and develop process flows, roles and responsibilities, and system inputs to support new business processes.
  • Develops dashboards, reports, and scorecards to support cross-stream reporting, analysis, and progress reports
  • Monitors progress of communication activities and deliverables and reports regularly to the management and client's decision-makers
  • Develop performance measures for business analysis evaluation and conduct follow-up.
  • Stakeholder management of diverse stakeholders with different interests
  • Participate in Knowledge transfer

  • Past experience in business analysis.
  • Validate and document business process and system processes as required.
  • Experience in documenting, and creating visually pleasing presentations using a wide range of tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering a wide range of documentation both business and technology-focused, including business requirement documentation, use case documentation, business workflow, IT process flow.
  • Experience with gathering data requirements writing report specifications and developing reports, dashboards, and report cards.
  • Experience in working with large-scale, complex IT projects delivering mission-critical IT solutions, including desktop applications, web / mobile applications, telephony, radio, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in bridging the business / IT communication gap to successfully deliver on IT implementations.
  • Experience in understanding and accurately translating business problems into technology requirements documents that support technology solution development using a wide range of tools and techniques.
  • Experience working on concurrent projects and managing competing priorities.
  • Develop, contribute, and / or validate communication material to support the communications strategies and plans.

Telecommunications and radio network experience in a large public sector entity - points

  • Knowledge and experience both in strategic and operational public sector governance models, experience managing complex, multi-unit, multi-stakeholder, and multiple levels of public sector executive stakeholder project teams, experience with public sector ITSM and ITIL processes and policies, ability and demonstrated experience developing mutually beneficial relationships with public sector entities.
  • Strong experience working in the Public Safety Radio / telecom domain. Demonstrated experience of working with multiple stakeholders in a broader public sector (BPS) environment.
  • Experience in projects involving, network design, civil structures, user equipment distribution, and operations.
  • Experience with projects involving large numbers of users (over ,), meeting their business requirements, training and communications needs, etc.
