Please note, in order to meet timelines, this position is being posted before applications have been approved. Role ProfileReporting to the Regional Volunteer Services Manager, the Volunteer Coordinators will assist with our BeFriending Program, and volunteer data management.

We are looking to hire for 2 positions. Responsibilities : The successful candidates will assist with our BeFriending Program, and volunteer data management : · This includes program preparation, set up, clean up and that equipment is readily available to participants.

  • This role will provide ongoing support to participants and the BeFriending Manager throughout programs. · The successful applicants will work closely with individuals living with disabilities and gain skills in client service.
  • They will work as part of a small team, and develop skills related to teamwork, problem solving, and communication. · This role includes data management of volunteer records and relations.

Qualifications : · Enrolled in post-secondary education in related field · Ability to work in a team and / or independently · Exceptional communication skills and written skills · Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Salary : $18.

95 per hour Please note the following : This position is subject to the approval and funding of our application to the Canada Summer Job program.

o Note : International students are not eligible participants. This position will have a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of working remotely and in-person at Unit 1E, Schmon Parkway, Thorold, Ontario, L2V 4Y6.
