As a Field Service Technician , you will ensure product quality and performance by conducting site inspections, providing training, and promoting products within the commercial contracting community.

Your role involves preparing detailed reports, participating in industry events, and managing product education for contractors.

Location : Greater Toronto Area

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE :

  • Liaising with the commercial contracting community and performing quality assurance inspections of ongoing and completed sites.
  • Preparing and conducting both theory and hands-on commercial product training for existing and potential Registered Contractors.
  • Liaising with the contracting community and distribution network on product promotion and theory education.
  • Producing written inspection and quality assurance reports for internal and external customers.
  • Attending and participating in related association events to promote IKO Commercial products.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE :

  • Commercial Roofing Experience : Proven expertise in the application of commercial roofing products is essential.
  • Building Envelope Experience : Familiarity with building envelope products is advantageous.
  • Quality Assurance : Experience with quality assurance inspections is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Roofing, Construction Technology or Construction degree is an asset.
  • Must have a solid understanding and proficiently use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to climb a ladder.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a solid understanding and proficiently use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while working independently.

WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL :

Some overnight travel.
