Job Description :

• Responsible for Project Everything3D(E3D) / Plant Design Management System (PDMS) / SmartPlant3D (SP3D)Setup and Administration Activities Database Administration ClashManager set up report customization MDS customization (SupportModelling) Creation and Management of UserDefined Attributes (UDAs)Spooler Set up & Catalogue and Specification Building
• Primary responsibilities are all aspectsassociated with the support customization and administration of E3DPDMS SP3D and Navisworks projects in a globalenvironment.

Key Tasks andResponsibilities :

• Databasecreation and administration (including exporting importing cleanupand merging databases)
• Loading and buildingcatalogues and specifications
• Setting up usersand databases especially for collaboration between multiplecompanies (Chevron and Engineering Procurement and Construction(EPC) / contractors)
• Maintenance of the Chevronmaster catalogue to ensure that the integrity is not compromisedduring and after EPC projects.
• Creating macrosin Programmable Macro Language (PML) to automate simple tasks likeadding or updating UDAs extraction of Navisworks / Review filesetc.
• Preparation of 3D modelling guidelinesand specifications
• Create new catalogues forthe projects as per vendor data for piping equipment structural andelectrical & instrumentation.
• Support / Guide the design team for any issues (all disciplines)
• Set up the clash management and run clashreports.
• Generate custom reports from the 3Dmodel as per project requirements.
• Configure(including troubleshooting) and extract key deliverables likeMaterial Take Off (MTO) piping isometrics equipment lists linelists weight reports etc.
• Configureprojectspecific customizations using PML / PML II
• Setup support configuration and customization to enablesupports modelling and drawing extraction.
• Coordinate with all disciplines to ensure that the outputof 2D drawings from 3D model is maximized.
• Setup & configure drawing styles & rulesets forextraction of various types of 2D drawings for variousdisciplines.
• Manage E3D / PDMS Global andE3D / PDMS Extract Databases. Coordinate with Systems lead in settingup global projects.
• Maintain globalcatalogues.
• Create local backups of runningprojects as necessary.

Essential Qualifications andEducation :

• DesignEngineering and / or IT background
• Experienceworking as a Piping Designer and very strong knowledge of plantlayout piping design and piping materials. Knowledge ofinstrumentation mechanical / HVAC Electrical Civil / Structural plantcomponents is highly desired.
• Must be able toread understand and interpret the contents on aP&ID.
• Must be able to integrate / work withlaser scan point cloud datasets within the 3D model.
• Good understanding of Design Engineering and associatedwork practices
• Very good knowledge ofconfiguring and supporting all modules within E3D / PDMS / SP3D
• Minimum of 10 years work experience as aE3D / PDMS / SP3D administrator preferably in a globalenvironment.
• Practical knowledge of PML / PML IIprogramming language
• Good communication skillsin English (verbal and written)
• Conversantwith MS office applications

Preferred Qualifications andEducation :

• Understandingof AVEVA Diagrams or other AVEVA tools administration
• Proactive and team player
• Mustpossess good problemsolving skills and creativethinking.
• Ability to train and teach otherteam members and Business Unit personnel the basics of E3D / SP3Dadministration and modelling.
