Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician

Major Job Functions:

· Assist Heavy Equipment Technicians with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all heavy duty equipment and/or related equipment in a timely fashion.

·Other related duties as required.

· An understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset.

·Computer literacy is required with an understanding of Finning systems and software programs considered assets.

·Mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of heavy equipment parts and repairs.

·Work as part of a team to meet Finning customer service commitments.

·Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.

·Understand and adhere to all Finning policies, including Code of Conduct and Safety.

·Ensure all service documentation and billing is accurate and properly recorded.
