Job Description
JOB DUTIES :
Installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
PLC and SLC5500 programming with RS Logic.
Allen Bradley VFD programming and trouble shooting.
Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems.
Ensures operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on electrical motors, generators, alternators, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
Utilize diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Familiar with the utilization of Predictive Maintenance and Condition Based monitoring tools
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management Software
CMMS). Supports the Maintenance Planners by contributing to the optimization of the Maintenance Plans and Equipment information in the CMMS
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

KEY REQUIREMENTS :
Licensed 442A Industrial Electrician
At least 2 years electrical experience in a manufacturing environment ideally in the food, pharmaceutical, CPG, or packaging industry.
