Description

  • Create and execute a diverse menu that showcases a fusion of global flavors and utilizes locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items that align with the restaurant's concept and target market.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, presentation, and taste consistently meet or exceed our high standards.
  • Lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Train and mentor culinary staff, ensuring consistent adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation techniques.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control measures to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices, and incorporate them into menu development and kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a high-end or upscale casual restaurant setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and current food trends.
  • A passion for creating innovative and visually appealing dishes that tantalize the taste buds.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
