Driven by purpose, values, innovation, and a commitment to building a future we can all trust, the Cyber Digital Solutions (CDS) North America (NORAM) business line seeks to bring cybersecurity globally to mission critical systems.

A core component of the CDS NORAM BL, the National Digital Excellence Centre sits at the centre of delivery, growth, and innovation in cyber security, housing a CSOC, cyber range, labs to facilitate R&D, and cyber education offerings.

A core leader within the National Digital Excellence Centre, the Operations Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing both the long term viability and the day to day operations of the NDEC.

Responsible to the Executive Director, the Operations Director is responsible for the efficiency, productivity, and alignment of operations across functional areas of the NDEC, proactively and pragmatically guiding people and processes towards strategic objectives.

Aligned with CDS NORAM business objectives, the NDEC Operations Director is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing allocated resources to include material, equipment and personnel to optimize in-year and out-year financial targets.

Acting as the central point of contact for NDEC daily operations, the Operations Director interfaces with key stakeholders, partners, internal entities, and customers to ensure operations alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Manage NDEC resources to include personnel, finances, and equipment to achieve strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance NDEC productivity and profitability.
• Grow, monitor, and continuously improve the operational capabilities of the NDEC.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure adherence to service delivery standards.
• Manage external relationships with key stakeholders, partners, customers and suppliers to maximize NDEC operational capabilities.
• Coordinate and synchronize key activities across multiples lines of effort to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of NDEC operations.

Minimum Qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree or technical diploma / studies in a relevant field (business, leadership, technology) or an equivalent level of experience in the cyber security domain.
• Minimum 10 years proven experience in IT / Cyber service delivery.
• Minimum 5 years combined experience in program management and / or SOC service delivery.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in an operations management role.
• Demonstrated leadership in SOC service delivery.
• Ability to develop, implement, and measure operational level plans.

Special Position Requirements

Schedule : Core business hours Monday-Friday; eight-hour workday.

Physical Environment : Access to R&D facilities, cyber-ranges, and Cyber Security Operations Centres.

Travel : Travel required in supported of customer requirements and sales opportunities, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Travel expected less than 10% of time .

Customer Location Based or Site Visits : Based in Fredericton NB, with travel to customer, partner, and / or stakeholder location.

Personal or Company / Pool Vehicle Usage : This position will either be issued a company vehicle or will be required to use their personal vehicle for travel or customer visits to perform the essential functions of the position.
