Job Description

Location

Hybrid – a mix of remote and in‑person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

Reporting and Focus

The Program Coordinator reports to the Manager, Undergraduate Office and provides front‑line advising for current Bachelor of Commerce students. Responsibilities include accurate delivery of information about academic requirements, deadlines, resources, and university and faculty procedures and policies. The role also offers administrative support and business‑planning insights to senior staff, undergraduate programs, and courses administered through the office, while advancing the University’s commitments to access, community, and belonging.

Responsibilities

Academic Administration

• Oversee the class schedule for the area and create a master plan for the upcoming year.
• Monitor and verify enrollment numbers for individual courses.
• Support requests for deferred exams, course withdrawals, overload requests, registration blocking, grade changes, and major / minor changes.
• Use Campus Solutions to troubleshoot schedule errors and reference policy and procedure information to resolve issues.
• Coordinate, review, edit, and submit all official additions / deletions / changes to the University Calendar to the Secretary to the General Faculties Council.
• Update class restrictions and coding in Campus Solutions.
