Site Coordinator – Brookfield, NS

With multiple operations in Atlantic Canada, we’re on the lookout for a passionate individual to join our team at our Brookfield, Nova Scotia location.

Position Available : Site Coordinator

In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee all processes, production, and related activities from start to finish. We’re seeking someone with great mechanical aptitude, a hands-on management style, and strong organizational skills.

Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity across all aspects of plant operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure Marwood policy compliance and conduct regular safety training.
• Manage plant cleanliness for safety and production standards.
• Establish and revise product-specific quality standards.
• Collaborate with Sales and Dimension Divisions to align production.
• Set and update production targets, track against budgets.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and downtime management.
• Manage output and costs for efficiency.
• Ensure environmental compliance and proper documentation.
• Establish inventory processes, including consumables.
• Participate in Weekly Budget and Production Review Meetings.
• Maintain staffing levels and site facilities.

What You Bring to the Table :

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing or equivalent post-secondary education is required.

We are looking for someone with a robust management background paired with relevant education. Familiarity with or a keen interest in the building material industry is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly

Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is essential, with a willingness to learn new software as needed. Overall, the successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, great leadership qualities, and effective communication skills.
