Job Overview :

As a City Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods within the city. You will work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and other team members to ensure timely deliveries, resolve logistical issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Dispatching : Efficiently plan and dispatch local deliveries and pickups, considering factors such as route optimization, driver availability, and customer requirements.
• Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, providing instructions, updates, and addressing any issues that may arise during transit.
• Scheduling : Develop and manage daily schedules for drivers, ensuring on-time arrivals and departures while maximizing productivity.
• Problem Resolution : Quickly address and resolve any logistical challenges, delays, or issues that may impact delivery schedules.
• Customer Service : Interact with customers to provide updates on shipment status, address inquiries, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, delivery confirmations, and any incidents or deviations from the planned route.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring the efficient flow of operations.
