About the Client

Our client is sourcing a Tax Analyst for a 6-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Assist with providing tax team with information needed to prepare corporate income and commodity tax returns and supporting schedules for the company

Manage all corporate income and commodity tax general ledger accounts including the determination and booking of corporate tax expense, payable and deferred on a monthly basis

Ensure tax accounting meets Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 requirements

Research and develop arguments to sustain the filing position during audit by various tax authorities

Prepare thorough and complete supporting documentation for subsequent audit

Collect, extract and understand data and information relevant for tax purposes

About You

Minimum of 2years of combined experience in income tax and / or accounting

Commitment to the highest level of business integrity and ethics

University degree in the field of finance / accounting

An accounting designation is preferred

Excellent communication skills and highly responsive to requests / opportunities

Proven ability to self-manage, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously on tight deadlines
