Income Tax Preparer

Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Income Tax Preparer for a temporary role from Mid-February to the end of April, based in Oshawa, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation and filing of individual T1 income tax returns, GST / HST returns, and assisting clients with inquiries. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $20 per hour.

Pay rate : $20 / hour.

Location : Oshawa, ON

Shifts : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm

New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities :

Prepare and file individual income tax returns (T1).

Assist in the preparation and filing of GST / HST returns.

Communicate with clients and the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) to resolve inquiries.

Perform general administrative duties as required.

Experience with Tax Cycle software is an asset; will be working with other software and tools as necessary.

Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently.

Work alongside other team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery. Requirements :

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

1-2 years of experience in preparing Canadian income tax returns using tax preparation software.

Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).

Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.

Intermediate proficiency with Excel and Outlook.

Quick learner and comfortable working with new software.

Post-secondary education in a related field (such as accounting, finance, or business).
