We are looking for a strategic, highly driven Corporate Development Manager to help identify and pursue new business growth and acquisition opportunities. This individual will work closely with senior leadership, investment partners, and key internal and external stakeholders to develop relationships, uncover potential opportunities, and assess strategic investments.

The ideal candidate has experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, investment banking, or related fields, along with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. This role is suited for someone who can take ownership of opportunities and move them from initial identification through the transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new acquisition and strategic growth opportunities through industry research, networking, conferences, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective acquisition targets and strategic partners.
  • Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive assessments to identify attractive markets and potential opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain organized databases, tracking systems, and reporting tools related to business development and deal activity.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and investment partners to evaluate opportunities and develop strategic investment theses.
  • Manage the deal origination process from initial contact through evaluation, negotiations, and letter of intent.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external advisors throughout the transaction process.
  • Prepare presentations, analyses, and briefing materials for senior leadership and board-level discussions.
  • Track multiple initiatives simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and next steps remain organized and clearly communicated.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate development, business development, investment banking, private equity, M&A, or another transaction-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in situations where priorities and information may be constantly evolving.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop relationships, and move projects forward.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating detailed analyses, reports, and presentations for senior executives or other decision-makers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise sound judgment when evaluating strategic opportunities.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Remote position with occasional in-person meetings as required.
  • Some flexibility may be needed outside of standard business hours depending on business needs, deadlines, and stakeholder availability.
  • Occasional travel to meetings, industry events, or company locations may be required.

About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a meaningful role in an organization's continued growth and expansion. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, strategic decision-making, business development, and M&A activity.
