Their team is comprised of long-standing and highly skilled professionals, and their mission is to provide ethical and high-quality services to their clients.Responsibilities : Support the Project Manager (PM) in all aspects of project execution, ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget.Ensure all personnel on site adhere to WCB safety requirements.Conduct daily site inspections to identify and rectify safety hazardsFacilitate site orientations for new sub trades, covering safety, equipment locations, and hazards.Oversee all daily site operations under the direction of the Project Manager, including scheduling, coordinating deliveries, and managing subcontractors and materials.Maintain a clean and accessible site, providing necessary utilities and workspaces for sub trades.Secure the site each evening and weekend, ensuring materials and tools are safe from theft and weather.Protect the site from weather-related damage and minimize rework by installing appropriate site protections.Inspect sub trade work for quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications, BCBC, and design criteria.Report quality control issues to the PM and help hold sub trades accountable.Provide daily updates to the Project Manager, attend weekly review meetings, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.Review project schedules daily, ensure sequencing is correct, and manage all subcontractor and supplier coordination as directed by the Project Manager.Assist the PM in managing the budget and schedule, including flagging inconsistencies related to site progress.Oversee material deliveries, ensuring proper storage, quality, and security to prevent damage or theft.Manage project documentation, including daily logs, photo submissions, permits, and change orders, ensuring proper record-keeping.Manage all on-site municipal and consultant inspectionsPerform on-site carpentry tasks if and when required such as backframing, fireblocking, etc.Requirements : 2-5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman, with a focus on residential infill (e.g., 4-plex, carriage houses), residential and commercial tenant improvement projects.Strong interest or background in high-performance building practices.Proven organizational and administrative skills.Experience managing projects ranging from $500K to $3M, including large-scale renovations and commercial work.Red Seal certification is a plus; hands-on experience is essential.Willingness and ability to assist with carpentry tasks as needed.Proven experience in managing all site-related logistics, procurement, subcontractor management, and site safety.Open to contributing across all aspects of construction.
