Description
Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, West Coast-inspired cuisine with consistency and creativity.
Assist in menu development , ensuring fresh, locally inspired dishes that highlight seasonal ingredients.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation , maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize kitchen operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations , maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment , ensuring exceptional dining experiences.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant, preferably with experience in seafood and West Coast cuisine .
Strong leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to inspire and develop a kitchen team.
Passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and a keen eye for detail in food presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong organizational skills.
