Job description

Our client is currently looking for a Captiva Developer / Administrator to maintain, administer, troubleshoot and develop code for OpenText / Captiva Capture based on business requirements.

Responsibilities

Apply system patches and upgrades in accordance with vendor support roadmap
Collaborate with teams across the organization to define functional requirements, develop and deliver solutions, provide ongoing support and assistance for deployed solutions
Assist with training of processes developed

Qualifications

Experience with OpenText Intelligent Capture / Captiva 16 or greater.

C# and Visual Basic programming language, SQL, familiarity with imaging and document solutions and tools.

Experience configuring Captiva Modules Designer, Administrator, ScanPlus, Distributed Web Client.

Experience in designing new Capture Workflows with Captiva

Knowledge in Capture Flow Designer and scripting knowledge

Experience in installing, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining InputAccel (Captiva Capture) Application Servers and Web Servers

Knowledge in Captiva Advanced Recognition, Dispatcher, Extraction, Templates, Standard Import, Multi Directory Watch, StandardOCR

Experience with Captiva Web Client, Captiva RestAPI, Deployment process.

Candidate should be at advanced development level with C#, .Net, Rest Web services, Azure and VB.

Wide knowledge of scanning and imaging related tools and technologies

Experience in troubleshooting user issues and communicating with customers and management.

Extensive Unit and Component test strategy, planning, and execution experience

Experience working in the Agile methodology

This is a minimum 9 month contact – work from home based in Toronto, ON
