Shop Labourer

We are seeking a motivated individual looking for work as a shop labourer and metal shear operator, for our client, a leader in fabrication and distribution of concrete reinforcing steel and related products.

This is the perfect position for someone looking for long-term employment with a company that values and invests in its employees.

SHIFT SCHEDULE : Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 5 : 00 am to 1 : 30 pm

WAGE : starting at $25. Pay is based on experience with an opportunity to review following a successful 3 month probation.

JOB LOCATION : Rocky View County No.44, Alberta, must have your own transportation, as public transport is not available

Responsibilities

What will your daily responsibilities look like?

• moving steel bars (rebar) to the required work station
• using a metal shearing machine and table blender to form steel into the required size and shape
• ensuring that safe working protocols are followed for the benefit of the whole team
• high degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess

• strong math skills
• ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• must have your own transportation, as public transport is not available
