Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Development Manager to lead cross‑functional development teams and provide strong technical and people leadership. This role bridges business and technology, ensuring high‑quality delivery through modern architectures, Agile practices, and effective stakeholder management.

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years in a leadership role (Development Manager, Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Solution Lead)
  • Experience delivering enterprise‑scale applications in Agile or Hybrid Agile environments
  • Proven ability to manage teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the key technical leader and liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Translate complex technical issues into business‑friendly language
  • Lead, coach, and mentor development teams with empathy and accountability
  • Facilitate collaboration across Design, Integration, QA, and Support teams
  • Manage vendor relationships and support financial / cost considerations
  • Drive technical strategy, planning, and execution
  • Key Technical Skills

  • API design and integration (Swagger / OpenAPI, security considerations)
  • Data fundamentals (DB selection, data flow)
  • Capacity planning and development estimation
  • Agile / Hybrid Agile delivery, metrics, and release management
  • DevOps practices and CI / CD tooling
  • Application NFRs : Monitoring, performance, security, unit testing
  • Application ownership and support readiness (vulnerabilities, DR, access control)
  • Basic understanding of AI‑assisted development tools and AI agents
  • Nice‑to‑Have

  • Hands‑on coding background (Java, .NET, Python, or similar)
  • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in regulated environments
  • Managing offshore or distributed teams
  • Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAFe, PMP)
  • Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong communicator who can influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Decisive leader with a strategic mindset and attention to execution
  • Team player with a proactive, “step beyond the role” attitude
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid, enterprise environment
