Salary : $32.59 - $37.26 per hour (Start rate non‑negotiable)

Shifts : All Shifts 24 / 7

Status : Permanent Full Time

The successful candidates will perform ECG, venipuncture on inpatients / outpatients as well as specimen management duties. The division of Specimen Management specializes in specimen procurement and processing for all UHN sites. As a valued member of Team LMP, you will play a key role in providing high quality preanalytical services to clinical, laboratory, and research professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECG on inpatients and outpatients
• Perform venipuncture on inpatients and outpatients
• Manipulate and process specimens as per laboratory protocols
• Operate laboratory equipment
• Organize and arrange transport of specimens
• Practice and provide patient‑centered care
• Use hospital information systems to access and document procedures
• Participate in training of staff
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with IPAC
