Base pay range

CA$65,000.00 / yr - CA$85,000.00 / yr

Overview :

At Global X, innovation drives everything we do, and in this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and updating our websites. As our Web Developer, you will bring strategic vision, creativity, and a pulse on culture to help us connect meaningfully with our audiences.

Reporting to the Lead Web Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining our product pages, implementing regulatory updates, and completing ongoing fixes and features. You will collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure our websites remain visually engaging, technically sound, and optimized for performance and usability. Ability to adapt to changing requirements while maintaining code quality and clear communication.

Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications

Collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the organization

Troubleshoot and find solutions for custom web application issues

Program multilingual websites with SEO optimization

Ensure the technical feasibility of application designs

Write reusable code for scale

Optimize web applications for speed and scalability

Enhance UX design in collaboration with designers and stakeholders

Integrate data from various sources with input validation

Test and provide after-hours support for delivery and maintenance of web applications

Maintain high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency

Create quality mock-ups and prototypes

Identify process improvements and propose solutions

Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends

Technical Skills :

3-5 years of technical experience

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and PHP; Tailwind CSS is nice to have

Experience with WordPress or Content Management Systems

Experience withSQL or MongoDB Databases

Working knowledge of distributed source control tools such as Git

Knowledge of accessibility and SEO best practices

French as a second language is a nice-to-have

Requirements :

College diploma or degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Effective team player with clear communication skills

In-depth understanding of the web development process

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Effectively manage projects and strict deadlines
