This is a key role within the newly formed Content Marketing team. We are looking for a passionate, self-driven content marketing professional who enjoys engaging with business, engineers, R&D and sales to design content strategies and plans to tell the Grid Automation story to our customers.
As a Content Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for the development and execution of a content plan for the briefs and projects assigned to you.
You will engage with product marketing, communications, field marketing and other business stakeholders to gain clarity on the business challenges and goals of each project.
You will collaborate with a team of writers, designers, communicators, product marketing managers, event planners, and campaign managers to develop the content plan that best responds to the business goals.
As a key contributor of the Content Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to launch new ideas to help Grid Automation stand out as an industry leader.
What you will do :
Build the content strategy leveraging the briefing, customer buying journey, and personas creating content by persona by different stages of the buying journey.
Work with Product Marketing and Communications to understand commercial and marketing goals and define a content plan accordingly.
Own and project manage the end-to-end content creation project, partnering with creative designers, copywriters, product marketing, communications, and other cross-functional teams to identify and resource content needs for each project.
Use internal subject matter experts, online research, content benchmarking, SEO to build the content that best answers to the goals and challenges presented on the briefing.
Develop, agree, and deliver a content marketing plan with clear deliverables and timelines.
Lead the conceptualization of the content bill-of-materials of a project in collaboration with the production team.
Communicate with internal customers on the progress of the project, insights needed, etc.
Leverage web analytics, social media, and external best practices to guide your content and report on performance.
Continually refine your content mix and strategy toward better engagement and conversion.
Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced consistently and creatively.
Serve as a primary touchpoint with creative agencies and manage an internal creative agency that services the enterprise.
Your skills and background :
8+ years of professional experience in content marketing, brand management, communications, or digital marketing; or a combination of 5+ years of experience and a masters degree, ideally working in a B2B technology industry.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or management required.
Agency experience is preferred
Proven experience building brand stories and narratives from briefings and translating them for creative teams.
Experience building outlines and copywriting for video scripts, web, social media, presentations, blogs, and SEO.
Experience editing with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
Cross-functional leadership skills are a must.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.

Experience working on different areas of a Marcom team (digital, events, PR, web).
Understanding of marcom KPIs including web analytics, email marketing, lead generation, advertising, conversion rates.
