Position : Accounting Technician in Sherbrooke

Responsibilities

Reporting to the controller, the accounting technician will have the following responsibilities :

• Handle the complete accounting cycle
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Process tax remittances
• Update monthly and year-end reports
• Ensure all accounts are up-to-date and accurate
• Issue management reports for department directors
• Other related tasks

Qualifications

Reporting to the controller, the accounting technician should have the following qualifications :

• DEC or AEC in accounting required. Any other relevant certification is also welcome.
• Knowledge of an ERP accounting system is an asset.
• Experience in the transportation sector (a significant asset).
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
