Job Description
We’re looking for a Building Electrical Engineer to join our team in one of our offices in Eastern Quebec (Quebec City, Saguenay, Côte-Nord or Bas-Saint-Laurent).
At the heart of building electrical projects, this position will require you to design plans and models, carry out surveys and assist the engineering team in carrying out projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional and hospital sectors.
This position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and to be part of a team of engineers, technicians and draftsmen working on stimulating projects.

Our hybrid work mode means you can telecommute, work from one of our offices, or even combine the two.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the electrical design of the building, such as electrical distribution, lighting including AGI32 calculations, fire alarms, etc.
- Determine construction costs and quantities in accordance with standard methods and established plans and specifications
- Carry out surveys and studies, and write technical reports
- Help solve technical problems
- Prepare progress reports and contribute to the development of the action plan.
- Act as a resource person for the technical team
- Prepare and monitor fee budgets and make recommendations. Participate in partial supervision of construction work
- Attend client meetings.
Qualifications
- University diploma in building engineering
- A minimum of five years’ relevant experience
- Membre of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- ASP Construction card
- LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable development and energy efficiency principles (an asset)
- Working knowledge of Revit software (an asset)
- Proficiency in spoken and written French
- Good command in English (an asset)
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (an asset).
