Job description

Our client is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to lead architecture, design, and development of high-quality mobile applications. In this role, you’ll be a key technical contributor within an agile team, shaping end‑to‑end solutions while mentoring engineers across multiple levels.

What You’ll Do

Lead the technical design, architecture, and development of cross-functional, multi-platform mobile systems
Collaborate closely with a dynamic mobile team throughout the entire SDLC
Champion engineering best practices—design, build, test, deploy, and support solutions using modern tools and frameworks
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and advise on their applicability
Mentor Junior, Intermediate, and Senior developers, fostering growth and technical excellence

What You Bring

6+ years building native Android applications using Java / Kotlin

6+ years experience in application architecture or data design

Strong experience with RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, JUnit, and Jenkins

Proven ability to mentor team members and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field

Preferred (Not Required)

8+ years leading full software development lifecycles

Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments

Experience working within agile teams and modern development practices
