Job Title : Full Stack Developer (MERN)

Location : 100% Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking a Tech Lead – Backend with strong backend fundamentals, deep system-level thinking, and proven technical leadership. This role requires hands-on ownership of backend architecture, performance, security, and end-to-end delivery. The ideal candidate has an excellent command of Node.js and JavaScript , strong expertise in database design and optimization , and the ability to lead engineers with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Own backend architecture, API design, and system scalability
Design and develop high-performance backend services using Node.js and JavaScript
Lead backend design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews
Ensure backend systems are secure, reliable, and production-ready
Mentor and guide backend engineers on best practices and coding standards
Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions

Required Technical Skills

Backend Development

Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript fundamentals

Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and backend services at scale

Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and backend architecture patterns

Database & Performance

Strong hands-on experience with NoSQL databases

Proven expertise in data modeling, indexing, query optimization, and pagination

Experience with performance tuning and handling large-scale data

Caching & Scalability

Experience implementing caching strategies (Redis, in-memory, HTTP caching)

Solid understanding of scalability challenges and performance trade-offs

Security

Strong understanding of backend security best practices

Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and secure APIs

Awareness of common vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques

Leadership & Communication (Non-Negotiable)

Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers

Confident communicator with the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions

Strong ownership mindset with high accountability

Ability to independently drive technical decisions and execution
