Account Executive at our
Kitchener, ON location. This is a full-time, permanent position and is Hybrid.As the Account Executive, you are responsible for managing full sales cycle – from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and nurturing client relationships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering value to customers. The sales region includes Kitchener-Waterloo, including Guelph and Cambridge. This role also supports the showroom when necessary, by meeting with customers, determining their needs through a consultative approach, and proposing the appropriate solution.

Main Responsibilities:Selling and Prospecting- Sell the entire range of Source products with new and existing customers by scheduling appointments and meetings to discuss options through a consultative approach
- Ability to work with Canadian manufacturers
- Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, direct mail, email and networking
- Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to the prospect’s needs
- Create and present a proposed layout of the customer’s space reflecting product based on specific measurements
- Provide product quotes as required
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Support- Provide support to the in-store team when not prospecting or when asked by the manager
- Keep up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools
Administrative Duties- Complete all work orders, invoices, quotes and all other necessary paperwork related to each sale
- Complete any other tasks as instructed by the GTA Sales Manager.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a B2B sales or account executive role
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong understanding of consultative selling and solution-based approaches
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers with open communication
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- High School diploma required, post-secondary degree is an asset
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and business auto insurance
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred QualificationsIndustry experience in Office Furnishings with a proven track record
