On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst.

Senior Finance Analyst – Job Description

• Overseeing senior analysts who are completing reconciliation work, reviewing this work, reviewing public disclosures, reg returns, reconciliations, discussing with current managers other areas, adhoc work
• Gain a thorough understanding of the consolidated Bank and business segments Basel III reporting processes including BCAR, New Credit Risk (NCR) and Pillar 3;
• Work closely with the Chiefs Basel Reporting team and other departments (i.e. technology, other areas of Finance) and business segments to be able to understand the impact on regulatory reporting and operational requirements related to Basel III related projects / initiatives;
• Oversee and review various tasks within Chief's Basel Reporting for certain monthly tasks including financial reconciliation, analysis, validation of results and issues investigation.
• Complete various quarterly Pillar 3 public disclosures;
• Be involved in various testing relating to quarterly technology release or projects impacting the regulatory floor, NCR or Pillar 3; and
• Provide status updates and escalation of issues to the other Managers, Senior Manager, Chiefs - Regulatory Reporting and Associate Vice-President, Chiefs Regulatory Reporting.
