Our client, a reputable mid sized downtown law firm is seeking an Insurance Defence / Defense Legal Assistant to add to their growing team.

This amazing opportunity would have you working for one of the highest regarded firms in their area of specialty. They are known for providing a collaborative and supportive environment. In addition this firm supports a hybrid work week requiring two days in their downtown Toronto office and the remainder remote.

Responsibilities will include :

• Providing assistant support creating documents and correspondence through transcription
• Providing administrative support which include (but not limited to) completing expense reports, courier forms, file opening forms, photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing and creation of file folders
• Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings and conferences
• Prepare and generate pre-bills for monthly billing
• Arrange for travel, booking flight, car, hotel reservations, as required
• Organize, maintain and accurately file correspondence, invoices and receipts via paper and digital formats
• Update records and support materials by transferring inactive files to storage according to file maintenance guidelines
