What Youll Do:

• Execute chemical processing operations with precision following batch record instructions.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety standards SOPs GMP and Good Documentation Practices.
• Perform accurate batch sheet entries and second-person verifications.
• Collaborate closely with experienced technicians and team leaders to complete tasks right the first time.
• Handle routine operations such as filtrations phase separations refluxing and distillations under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities and ensure the safe handling of chemicals and process waste.

Qualifications :

• College Diploma or Degree preferred but not mandatory
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Capable of following detailed instructions
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Capable of sound decision-making
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills
• Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• A working knowledge of cGMP principles preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing facility being a definite asset
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals being a definite asset
• Experience working with API or formulation pharmaceutical processing equipment or related experience in food cosmetics or specialty chemicals being a definite asset
• Experience working with computerized chemical processing equipment being a definite asset
• Experience with shift work preferred but not mandatory: 8 hour - 24/5 and/or 12 hour - 24/7 (Continental shift schedule)

The approximate annual base compensation for this position starts at $50000 CAD (base salary does not include potential shift premiums or overtime). The actual offer reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicants experience knowledge skills and abilities.
